Myrtos is the most famous beach in Kefalonia, forming its \"trademark\", and one of the most beautiful beaches in Mediterranean Sea. It is located in the northwest side of the island, in the region of Pylaros, and is 9 km away from the village of Agia Efimia. It is famous worldwide, it has received numerous awards worldwide and every year wins the Blue Flag award.
Myrtos beach has a length of 800 meters, is surrounded by high cliffs and it has a unique white sand and clear waters, while in other parts of the beach you will meet rocks and pebbles.
